Lego Bionicles are proving to be the most sought after instruction sets that are currently on this site. I wasn’t sure when I started this site which areas would get the most traffic and searches, but it has proven to be the Lego Bionicle Instructions that win hands down.
So far the site has been at full speed for only 2 weeks, but already the Lego Bionicles Instructions pages are out performing most of the rest of the site pages put together. I guess this comes due to the fact that the Bionicles are almost a separate entity on their own. With a full website dedicated just for them at www.bionicle.com and a lots of different sets already available, you can see why they are so popular.
And now Lego have released another new set of Bionicles. The Glatorian Legend series come from the latest Bionicle movie called The Legend Reborn. You can view the trailer at the official site.
Check out ourĀ Lego Bionicle Instructions. We will get the Bionicle Glatorian Legend instruction series as soon as we can and will post here with more information if anything new comes up in the world of Lego Bionicles.
Star Wars Lego sets are the subject of today. These sets are broken up mostly by the movie they represent so they are easier to find. The categories of sets includes Clone Wars, some mini sets and a range called Star Wars Ultimate that has some extra large sets including a Millennium Falcon, a Tie Interceptor, a Snow Speeder and an X-wing.
Have a look through, even if it is just to remember back through the Star Wars movies. They are a great collection of Lego sets and sure to be a hit with any collector.
Did you know that all LEGO bricks ever produced are fully compatible, regardless of where or when they were made. That means you can take one of the earliest pieces from the earliest sets and know that it will fit with the set you just bought new. Quite amazing really when you think that Lego have been producing the bricks for 70 years!
I’ve added a few new categories over the last few days. One of them is a small, but very popular range of Lego Indiana Jones sets. There are only 9 Lego sets in the category, but I know they are a popular group of sets. All 9 sets are taken from the latest in the Indiana Jones movie series called Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Along the same theme, Lego have just released a new Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull game. For more information you can see the Official Homepage.
You can view the Lego Indiana Jones sets that I have uploaded on the Lego Indiana Jones page.
Did you know that a carpenter started the LEGO company in 1932? He didn’t start with the plastic bricks we think of today when we think of Lego. He distributed wooden toys, stepladders and stools.
It wasn’t until 1949 when the first bricks came out. Originally they were called Automatic Binding Bricks because they hooked together giving them the effect of binding automatically.
Did you know that since 1958 Lego has produced 400 billion bricks? That is a LOT of bricks!!
Tonight I have added most of the Emergency Services instruction pages to the site. There are a few missing, but this is mostly due to the case of multiple numbering of sets. Back in the early days of Lego it wasn’t uncommon for sets to have more than 1 number for the same set, and also for there to be different sets of the same number. Once I get this sorted out I will upload the remaining pages.
To view the Lego rescue instructions, please go to the Rescue Instructions page. While I was at it I also uploaded the small set called Lego RESQ. It is a small group of 8 sets (with 1 set having 3 different numbers) and you can find it on the Lego RESQ Instructions page.
I have to say that some of these sets where among the first sets I had when I was a boy, so going through these has brought back some memories!! Gotta love those old Lego sets!!
This morning I have uploaded the Lego Dinosaurs instructions to the site. You can find them on the Dinosaur Instructions page. There are only 9 instructions in this set, but they are a great collection of sets, especially for young boys. I know that my boys love anything dinosaurs, and also anything Lego, so these make a very popular choice.
I have just updated the site to include the Lego Knights Kingdom instruction sets. You can find that by going to the Knights Kingdom page. There are 61 different instruction sets for the Knights Kingdom, although some are doubles as they were released under different numbers. The sets range from the first sets released in 2000 through to the latest sets that were released in 2006.
There are several different generations, especially of the main Knights as they went from the standard figure style to the larger, more free-moving style. There are also a large range of castles and weaponry that were released.
Welcome to my Lego blog. My aim here is to talk about the BrickInstructions website, and also about anything interesting that is happening in the world of Lego.
I am still in the process of adding Lego instructions to the site so if there is a set you are looking for just let me know and I’ll upload it as soon as I can.
If you find out something that you think should be shared with the other Lego fans out there, let me know and I will hunt out whatever information I can and blog about it.
And of course, if you have some instructions that aren’t on the site, please send them through so I can keep the site as up to date as possible with Lego Instructions.
Thanks
